partner in the Washington office of Smith Helms Mulliss & Moore, a large
North Carolina law firm. Prior experience includes serving as Tax Counsel
to the Senate Finance Committee, Tax Counsel for the National Association
of HomeBuilders, and Washington Representative for the American Petroleum
Institute.
